Tooth Fairy inflation?

The tooth fairy was fluttering about this evening and left my youngest $5 for her second tooth. I think the tooth fairy was a bit over-generous. :shrug: Maybe she felt guilty about something?

5. Son's third is about to go too

7. Yeah...

One of the more affluent and spoiled children in my class got $10.oo this year for her first tooth.
I just shook my head. :shrug:

8. At my house we charged the tooth fairy interest.

Because she always took so damn long.

Then we found out why. It's because she had to find time to make a cross-country trip to come get our teeth. We found this out because my cousin told us that the tooth fairy wasn't some mystical being that collects teeth and leaves money... it was actually her mom. :P

That the tooth fairy left only a dime, and only for the first tooth lost. Teeth two through twenty got zilch!
