Eh, I need to set the record straight.

The squirrel bungie corn feeder thing I got is THIS one at $7.99 (on sale for $4.99 at Stein's) by Birdola, which I now know because I just checked when I went to buy more birdseed:

NOT the other kind, referenced in flvegan's bird feeder thread, which is not only considerably more expensive ($17.99/$13.99 on sale), but worse, the company is owed by a fundie dude.

My bad. Sorry 'bout that.

:hi:

2. Heh heh.

Oh well, at least there will be endless colonies of happy, bouncin' corn-fed squirrellies at casa flvegan.

And the fundies, well... I guess they get to eat too. This time.

3. I think we can forgive you for that mistake. I can, anyway, even if
nobody else can.

5.  Forgive me, sure. But you might need to assign some penance, no?

Heh. Okay, okay. I know you are teasing me because you know me well enough, and I know this is a small thing, but - for those who don't know me - principled honesty is a really big deal to me. It is something I demand both of myself and others, in matters large and small. If I've messed up, as I did here, even though it is a relatively inconsequential screw-up in the broad scheme of things, it is still important to me put things right. So I did.

Anyway. Hope your shoulder has recovered from your happy client.

7. Your obsession with honesty is part of why I like you so much. And thank you for
asking about my shoulder's condition after the recent Emergency Project; I find it quite touching that you've read my posts about that.

Today, actually, ended up being Pain Crash Day; I finished up the website component of that project yesterday and was greeted with 35 degrees and rain this morning...an irresistable combination, which can only be fought against with numerous Vicodin.

But I got through the day, and now I'm ready to have Airplane Night on the History Channel with my younger son.

May I remind you that you are a peach?

9. It's true. Principled honesty has become an obsession for me.

Oh well. I suppose there are worse things over which one might obsess.

I am glad to hear that you made it through the Pain Crash Day. It sounds just awful. I'm also so glad to know that you have resources there to help you through the rough spots. Effective meds and a loving family make a world of difference.

Take care of yourself.

8. What you need is a walk by the Connecticut River.
We have several places to do that, right nearby.

10. I will make it out there one day.

I expect there are a great many wonderful walks to be taken in that most beautiful corner of the world.
