1. It's never a good idea to tell GD:P that they're being unreasonable assholes.

Before I read the responses, I knew that at least one poster would either agree with you by accusing supporters of another candidate of being at fault or someone would try to correct you and explain why it's necessary to fling shit at whichever candidate they don't support.

I appreciate the kind words.

I don't know what good it will actually do, but I desperately needed to vent. I've been worried about everything that goes back and forth over there. It doesn't reflect well on all of us - not just the Freeper trolls, not just the jerks or the delusional assholes... It starts looking bad on ALL of us after a while.

3. I'm actually a bit impressed.

Last time I tried a 'let's stop flinging shit and talk' thread the very first response was a flame and it pretty much went downhill from there. On yours people are calling out the flames as being what they are, but not fanning them more then necessary. :)

4. Yeah, I was surprised by that too.

There's still a couple of hot spots in there, but it's not nearly as bad as I thought it might be.

Still, it seems that some people jsut don't understand. Oh well... Can't shine the light on the minds of all of the people all of the time...
