Holy cow - I work in downtown Atlanta and it looks like a bomb went off here this past weekend

This is a column light in Centennial Olympic Park - they are massive and two were laying on the ground like someone had just picked it up and lay it on its side



And this is a little building across the street from the park that is probably going to become a prime piece of real estate soon -



Wow. Just wow. That's all I could keep saying. I don't know how you people in Tornado Alley do it...

1. How did you even get into downtown this morning?

I heard the traffic was a nightmare.

3. I took MARTA in.

I had to call everyone in my office this morning at 7am to tell them all to take MARTA in. Most of the streets are still blocked off because there is stuff just dangling from rooftops and windows that didn't completely fall out but could at any minute.

It is a strange sight...

2. we were watching basketball that night

and it was wild to see all the damage to various venues. What a mess - was anyone hurt? Hope not.
