1. My dear KitchenWitch!
You do?

They scare the daylights out of me...:scared:

I hope you get to hear some more...

Just keep them away from here, OK?

2. In Minnesota, during the spring and summer, thunderstorms are a weekly occurence
The severe ones I can do without, but there is something cleansing about a good "boomer". Next time one hits by you, go out and look at the plant life afterwards, everything is just a bit greener than if it had only rained. Something to do with the electrical charge. It is really cool.

7. Because I hate them so much since I was small
For a long time as a child I was scared of fireworks (the booms) too. I'm still not overly fond of the real loud ones...

4. We had a brief HAIL storm up here yesterday!
Lasted maybe 5 minutes, but enough to coat the streets with WHITE! Icy as hell, but just for a minute -- I happened to be driving at the time, weird stuff!

Here = Sonoma county (Santa Rosa area)

8. I hate you.
Ok, not really, but I am SUPER JEALOUS. I miss thunderstorms too.

It's sunny and windy here...not a threatening cloud to be seen! How did you get a thunderstorm?

And apparently Silver Lake had hail last night. Not that I want that, but all we got was freakin' wind. x(

9. No clue.
Funny thing is, there was no rain attached to the thunderstorm.

Weird.

We have thick dark clouds...we have lightening, we have thunder, we have NO RAIN.

10. Eeeep!
Ok, that's a little scary. Particularly the lightening part.

Hope it goes away soon!

There's no understanding SoCal weather. It's either exactly the same as the day before or it's completely random.
