11. We've just had our second tornado warning of the day, west of Atlanta...

...which netted us only golf-ball-sized hail:


We fell asleep last night listening to damage reports from in town, then were awakened before six this morning by the city siren. Spent an hour in the basement with all eight cats and dogs before the all-clear. We just went through the same thing this afternoon, but with my visiting aunt and cousin joining us downstairs for extra coziness. The all-clear is just now being broadcast, though they left an hour ago.

Last weekend, it was a tornado warning Friday night, then snow all Saturday morning. Crazy weather.
