Gen X'ers Check in
That is, those born between 65-73

Among our ranks we count Sam Seder, Jeneane Garafalo, Julia Sweeney, Chuck Palahniuk and a bunch more.

We are the thinkers. We are the ones who rely on our brains rather than brawn.

I'm 1975. :hi: Regardless of year, I identify as an Xer much more than a Y or a Millennial or whatever the next generation is.

21. No they're a totally different case
They're main strength is in their numbers, remember?

They got the guns, but we got the numbers

So with a big population you get everything: brains, brawn, stay crunchy in milk....

47. They're just barely before my time.
I remember that sort of thing, but was too young to be part of that group. My brother was born in 76 though, and most people tend to put him in the Gen X group.

Definitely an X-er here. We've had to rely on our brains, with the increasingly complicated world we live in. We have a lot of great leaders (and more soon-to-be) among our ranks.

32. what am I then?
that seems like a small window for a generation. I don't really think that my brother who was born in '72 is part of a different generation than me ('78) or our sister ('75).

.....and I think ascribing attributes to an entire generation negates the idea that the brain is relied on, unless it's relied on for storing Pearl Jam trivia over reason.
