1. Fix wall and remember that you were a teen jerk at one time and
then yell and get real upset just like your folks did when you were a teenaged ass. :) So I guess both.

2. I'd make fun of him for being stupid.

That'll teach him quicker than any punishment you could dish out.

*edit* I say this as someone who was a teenager only a few years ago. :)

3. b
If he had done it with a skateboard or something, I'd
be pretty mad, but he had every expectation that the
wall would hold.

He knows differently now. Have him help you fix the wall.

5. He get an allowance?
I say he either fixes the wall or has to pay for it. 13 isn't too young to learn a good lesson in accounts payable v accounts receivable.

6. You help son fix wall (instruction) and recall any similar...
ill-considered actions you have done in the past. Try to leave the term "jerk" out of the equation...

7. Double dog dare him
Challenge him to top the stunt or pay up. He'll back down and you will have the money you need for the repair. And if he takes you on, post it on YouTube so he can become an instant celebrity.

10. When my 2nd oldest son was about 7 yrs old he decided to spit all over a restaurants windows
and I took him by the shirt collar and made him clean the windows in front of all the restaurant patrons The waitress gave me paper towels and Windex at my request. He learned his lesson. Never did that again but he was a wicked pain in the ass kid for doing crap like that! At age eight, he found the electric shut off to a whole apt building and he shut them down!!! Ugh! I had to again reign him in... He wore me out but he's a well behaved young man now!! I'm a lot more grayer and earlier than I should have been though! :P I love him muchly and always will.
