3. Love DE! What do you put in yours?
I use paprika also, a pinch of minced onions, and sweet relish. Some people use dill relish.

4. here's one for you! my ingredients: yogurt - strained first,
mustard, salt/pepper, paprika, and of course the cooked egg yokes. and then paprika on top.

I considered a little relish but decided against it this time.

what do you put in yours?

8. I use mayo instead of strained yogurt, but yours would be
much healthier! The mustard sounds good with dill relish. I also use pepper. I like the salty -savory (onion) - sweet contrast, versus just sour/salty/hot.

14. Either. If I have a fresh onion already cut into, I'll dice a wee bit and
squeegee a few drops of the juice into the mixture.

My mother-in-law makes DE for me alot because I'm the only vegetarian in the family (but I'm not a vegan).

9. wowa. nobody told me about smoked paprika...
so I guess I didn't...

so for pointing smoked paprika out to me, you can have two deviled eggs. unless you don't want them without smoked paprika, which I might understand.

17. Smoked paprika is also called Pimenton de la Vera.
And locally I can buy it at Whole Foods in either sweet or hot. Both are good.

28. It adds a hint of smokiness in the background of foods.
I add it to my tuna salad and my hummus, to name two.
