Another mother/daughter tradition, down the drain.
I was all settled in with Bunny Jr., we're watching The Godfather (first time she's seen it) and I'm explaining the finer points of the various killings and plot lines, and...she gets a call from her BFF Crystal, and now she's going over to her house for the evening. What a disappointment! :-(

30. LOL, ok, I've seen that. But I haven't seen....
Titanic, IT, Sixth Sense, a ton of others that I can't remember to name, because I haven't seen them, hehe.

I do feel like I'm missing out on a big piece of American culture, though.

22. Hmmm, the basic teenage deliberation....
Friends or mother? Friends or mother? Friends or...

What am I saying? "Friends" beats "mother" 99.98% of the time.

:P

Sorry your night was ruined, but I hope your daughter has a great time nonetheless with Crystal. :)

29. Yeah. But the Godfather is on what...5 times a month on AMC?
It's quite a complex story for someone to take in all at once anyway.

Don't worry. You can get her to the point where you can roll citrus fruit across the floor at crucial moments. :D
