It's 6:30 AM. Should I go for a drive?

This is the fifth night since my Dad died that I've awakened to pee and then couldn't get back to sleep. This time I was up at 5:15.

I can get a cup of coffee, and drive and either think about him or listen to my book. I can take Tomtom, drive places I've never been and not get lost.

I like it. I think I'll go.

do whatever you can to make yourself feel better. If that means midnight drives, then absolutely yes

3. If it helps you, the I say drive

I get restless when I'm depressed or upset. Driving is my therapy. Sometimes I just get on the outerbelt and drive the loop if I'm afraid I'll get too far from home.
