HOLY BATCRAP - Rapture Index up to 163
http://www.raptureready.com/rap2.html

According to the Rapture Index chart:

Rapture Index of 100 and Below: Slow prophetic activity
Rapture Index of 100 to 130: Moderate prophetic activity
Rapture Index of 130 to 160: Heavy prophetic activity
Rapture Index above 160: Fasten your seat belts

People we can thank for this bump:

The Occult:
There has been two major news events involving witchcraft and murder.

And George Bush:
A number economic reports point to the risk of recession.

1. What I find interesting is it was at a record low on 12/12/93.
Go figure. I guess they don't like stability of the Clinton years!

4. Christianity and Islam are doomsday cults.
Nothing more. Anyone who doubts that needs to spend more time at RaptureReady.com.

6. You know what gets me? The ambivalence and the desperation.
They're all so fervent about wanting the Rapture, oh yes, they'll assure you they want it SO BADLY...but they're afraid of it too.

There seems to be some confusion about the order of things...are things are supposed to get down and dirty BEFORE the floating commences? Having to sit through some divine shock and awe isn't something most people are looking forward to...

Or are all the good guys supposed to clear the field (THE RAPTURE-everybody goes floaty-float) and THEN the rest of us can merrily go on with Armageddon while the rapurists watch smugly from above and get their bets down...
:eyes:

...or secretly, in their innermost hearts, they're afraid the Rapture is NOT REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN...
but all the nasty hostile bad stuff is still going to happen anyway, and they're going to be stuck here for it, just like the godsless heathens who didn't believe. :scared:

9. It's been 2000 bloody years.
The original apostles expected the rapture to happen in their lifetimes because Jesus himself led them to that conclusion. It's been 2000 years now, I think it's safe to say that the prediction (and correspondingly, the divinity of Jesus) is bupkis.

7. If you were wearing your seatbelt when the Rapture came
Wouldn't that hurt?

11. Are we talking Rupture or Rapture?
Because if it is Rupture, it would definitely hurt.

10. This google ad is actually a fairly good site
http://www.mostholyfamilymonastery.com/

In debunking rapture stuff.

The rest of it's a bit off the wall - anti-masonic, homophobic, anti-semitic...

There's also great stuff on heresy.

12. That's a really strange little place
All of it is, as you put it, "off the wall".

And graphically, it wins "Worst Web Site in the world" award.

Looks like whoever built it was using blunt scissors and construction paper.

13. Hmmmm...
If the rapture doesn't come the way they say it will, does that mean that something else will conveniently come along an move the "index" back below the 160? Or will they just adjust everything upward so that they are again in the "safe" range?

Ah me... Look at that. I'm trying to think logically about the whole thing and it isn't working. Who would have guessed?

Q3JR4.
