1. Glad things turned out well for you, devilgrrl
Believe me, I know how scary it can be.

I landed in the ER twice, thinking I was having a heart attack. (Turned out to be a panic attack, actually.)

2. Good for you.
It's just better knowing. Apparently there are a lot of reasons for chest pains. I'll take the beats me diagnosis over advanced heart disease any day.

3. I always lose stuff in the couch cushions.
So you should spend your time sitting on the couch for hours on end to make sure you lose those 15 pounds. :P

5. Glad nothing was wrong, but I'm wondering if it might be GERD.

I have that myself. It caused severe chest pains--at first I thought I had angina.

Drinking water made it go away.

I have since then made some changes in my diet, sleep on two pillows, etc.

7. I was thinking the same thing.
It might be heartburn. If you want to check out if that's what's causing the chest pains, follow up with a Gastro doctor.
