Help!! Advice needed - I just lost the ability to "see" TPM...

I have three homepage tabs on my browser. One of them is DU and one is TalkingPointsMemo (which I love). All three loaded fine.

But this morning's posts didn't all show - so I had to click back to the archives. Which wouldn't load - just kept trying for 10 plus minutes. When I realize this (I was reading DU and not paying attention to the other tabs to notice that it was still "working to load" rather than loading. When I tried to stop it - it kept trying to load. So I tried closing that window - and got a warning message (that trying to stop it could cause problems). Finally I had to close Explorer despite the warning message.

Later when I kicked the computer back on and opened my browser - it loaded TPM (says "done") but all that shows is a blank screen with one single line at the top of he screen. I have tried several times and that is all that happens.

Am I doomed to not be able to read one of my favorite morning and evening reads from home? Or is there something I can do to try to get around this problem.

All advice is welcome!

2. *whew* that is good to hear

When visiting My mother - her old mac would only load the front page, but wouldn't load election central - no idea why. But didn't sweat it as I wasn't going to be there very long. This was too wierdly reminiscent of that. I just hated the idea of losing access (still haven't read all of today's posts there) - just second to what it would be like (which would be much worse) if I suddenly couldn't get to DU. Thanks. I will just periodically check til its up - as it does sound like its the website.
