Having lived in Los Angeles for 2 years now, one of the very few things that I've missed about the Midwest was the gloriousness that is the Snow Day. I've campaigned for a "Sun Day", but to no avail, and had pretty much resigned myself to never again experiencing the thrill of an unexpected day off or getting sent home early.
But.
My boss just told us all to go home early!!
Only an hour, but still. It's barely even raining here right now, it's not windy (yet), and everyone's freaking out. I am amused, and you can darn skippy bet that I'm going to take advantage of it. 15 minutes and I'm outta here! :D
