honestly, i don't. i'll vote for whoever our candidate is, and unless they are the worst campaigner in the history of elections i don't think any of the pukes are going to win. i think ronald ray-gun's bloated rotted corpse stands a better chance of winning than any of the live pukes.

the problem is, none of our candidates inspire me at all. kucinich and edwards come the closest, but even so...DK doesn't stand a chance, and edwards is no great shakes.

sigh

1. Yeah ... I agree with you, but
I still find the whole chaotic mess interesting.

2. it seems like the process used to be more exciting
is it me, or is the two year campaign process sucking the fun out of elections?

7. Wouldn't it be cool if DK pulled it off?
This IS the internet age, and I don't think most polls poll very young. DK is the king of every internet poll (including DU until recently).

Pweeze don't cwush my widdle dweems.

12. I admit that I'm interested in the Iowa race ONLY because
the shit-flinging is so outrageous, it's funny. I'm really waiting to see what happens in NH, where Dennis has been campaigning heavily. That'll be my indicator of if I continue to care about the primaries.

15. Alas...
I don't think Iowa is going to be where DK would shine. Not that Iowa has final say, but in my opinion, he's going to have to push past some pretty dismal results tonight. And honestly, I hope he does.

8. I feel about the same as you
I probably would have gotten excited if Al Gore was in the race, but it was not to be.

Nobody really stands out for me otherwise.

I'm not as confident about winning the General Election as you.

13. i really think the Great Undecided Yahoos (60% of the general electorate) are sick of the pukes
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 04:31 PM by MrCoffee
i think it will take concerted effort by our candidate to lose the general. don't get me wrong, we've shown remarkable tenacity when it comes to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. but short of outright theft, i feel good about the general.

maybe that's why i'm so apathetic about the primaries

17. as somebody on DU once said
The Democrats never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

I will say that I'm usually a pessimist, but even I will be surprised if we don't pick up seats in both Houses of Congress.

9. Luckily I'm dancing tonight, so I don't have to sit and watch the results.
I'd never be able to keep myself from it otherwise.

14. I wish I didn't care as much as I do
but in my opinion, there is one candidate who is clearly the best man for the job. And one who clearly is not.

I'm lukewarm about all of the others...in my opinion, the primaries are a HUGE deal.

Of course, I understand that not everyone agrees with me, and that's totally cool as well.

19. I'll be in your position
if Edwards doesn't make it. If he's out, I'm done caring. Which is also a strange position for me to be in.

Thankfully, I don't see that happening. :)

under their rocks and leave DU alone.
