Hell freezes over tonight, folks!
That's right! Even Orlando will get a hard freeze, and the east coast of FL may get snow flurries.

3. I'm sure at one time, Orlando has been the target of Pat Robertson's ire.
I believe several years back, the city flew pride flags. That really had Robertson up in arms.

8. Indeed it has.
What really cheesed Marion Pat off, though, was when nearby Disney World had a "Gay Day". Marion Pat proceeded to threaten (or whatever) Orlando with hurricanes, blissfully unaware that it sits 35 miles inland. :eyes:

10. But, we did get hit by 3 hurricanes in 2004.
Charley, Francis and Jeanne.

Must have been because of the gay day.

4. Is the average around freezing this time of year there?
Or is it more around 40 or so?

Our December was very warm. I think it was 80 on Christmas. I really do not like the heat. I wouldn't mind moving to northern GA or the mountains of NC, maybe near Asheville. I would love to find a place that averages a high of 65, and low of 45, with about 4 snows. Know of such a place?

:hi:

9. Brr!
I bet you are an expert at layering!

Those little thin fleece blankets are the best invention ever for cold days. Those buggers keep you warmer than a big comforter.

7. Yep, my old roommie was complaining about it when I talked to him earlier. :)
He just got a new job (which is why he was able to stay in the two bedroom apartment when I moved out, he's making more money than he was when we moved in together), but that job is outdoors.

And last night when it was down in the 50s or so he accidentally left his jacket at home. He didn't make that mistake today...
