Anybody ever hear of Hooverphonic?
I have to admit, I've been on an almost obsessive Acid Jazz kick lately.

More Trip-Hop, please!!

1. Alas, their best stuff seems to have come first
"A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular" was good, and the follow-up "Blue Wonder Power Milk" was really, really, really good. But after that, well, not as good... although last year's "Jackie Cane" was brilliant in places.

Your mileage may vary, of course.

Trivia: They were originally called Hoover until you-know-who got their panties in a bind.

2. I first heard of these guys on Luxembourg Radio 21
and when I got back to the states, I picked up a couple of cuts in some comp CDs.

BTW The Thievery Corp remix of This Strange Effect is dah bomb!!
