Jack's skin is in great shape since I started feeding him fish oil pills as someone suggested. We can per him now whereas in the past his hind quarters used to be too tender to touch. Jack and Guinness are walked in harnesses now which keeps them from strangling each other when they run in opposite directions. (I walk them on two leashes tied to a 20 foot line so they can explore our fields when I walk them)

1. Even those of us who are cat people love dogs too.
:loveya:

That's awesome that have a solution that's natural and doesn't require meds. :)

3. An extra thing to look for
read your dog food ingredients. Corn, wheat and soy are the 3 biggest offenders in dog allergies and if you have 'ears and rears' problems (along with red paws that they lick incessantly) a change in food might be in order. It's horrible when you start reading the lists and find that the majority of kibble starts with ground yellow corn and then has 4 or 5 other forms of corn down the list.

We had horrible skin problems with some of our dogs until we changed their food to something that, if it has grain at all, has rice or barley and never as the main ingredient.

4. Dog person here. Glad Jack's doing better!
:hi: I have two dogs, and we walk them in harnesses. I learned this a while back with another dog we had, and it's the best solution.
