2. I am a grated cheese snob.
If you're not using Locatelli romano, you might as well be eating toe cheese.

15. I'm working on my second one, but it may take a while ...
... to convince Mrs. Bake that it wouldn't be a frivolous expenditure!

Mine is an HD-28 LSV with the large soundhole. It's a cannon! My NEXT one is going to be a 000 ...

If it doesn't come from Nazareth, PA, it ain't squat!

21. That's The Similar Model
I've got the D-28 CME. (Cutaway.Mahogany.Electronic) It's got the built-in Fishman, and has Mahog sides and back.

My 12 string is the D-18T. (I think the T stands for Twelve). It's really simple looking. Very little ornamentation. The little pamphlet that comes with it specifically states that it is braced to be tuned to E like a regular 6 string, for the life of the guitar. I thought that was pretty cool.

Now, i'm pretty much done. Mrs. GAC would start to look askance at getting any more. 14 is enough. (Plus the mandolin and bass.) 15 might try her patience.

24. Nah! It's An Ovation Mando
Edited on Wed Dec-26-07 03:00 PM by ProfessorGAC
So, i don't pass the snobbery test. Quite honestly, i bought the mando for two reasons:

1) I thought it would be fun to have one.
2) There is a 14 inch wide area next to the door of my rec room and a small instrument was all that would fit there. So, i bought it to hang next to the door. (Yeah i know, that's kind of republican.)

I will go home, stand in front of it, and castigate myself for having an inferior italian peasant instrument. And, i stand in contrition to you, Bake, for having such poor taste!

Same to you and your's for the holiday!

17. When they hurt others just because they _can_, they're bullies.
Their inferiority complexes are _their_ problem; they don't need to turn their pychoses on the vulnerable. :grr:
