...Hey, wouldn't YOU like a change of pace if you'd eaten cookies and had milk to drink for the ten-thousandth time in one night?

4. I'll open the flue damper so you can shinny down, and there's more beer
where that one came from.

I'm sure I could dig up some kind of veeg-ish snackage for you as well (how about some home-made refried black beans? No critter or dairy involved with them); I'll take care of the ham.

14. Gotta be honest, sir
I'd rather the front door.

My fat butt ain't going down any chimney.

And I'd be good not eating if I had good times spent with friends. Friends like you and yours, sir.

16. No, NOBODY leaves our house without being fed. Any dietary preferences can be
accommodated with a bit of creativity, and Mrs R is the most creative cook I've ever known.

We'll have that beer some day.

18. One way or another. But I am NOT going to go to Florida in the summer!
You make the commitment to travel if the opportunity presents itself during the warm months, and I'll do the same for the cold ones.

2. My dear Redstone!
At first, I couldn't get what on earth you were talking about!

And then I remembered...today is Christmas Eve!

You see, we celebrated our Christmas today...

My daughters, their husbands/so's and our grandsons all arrived here today!

Much merriment ensued!

So I'm off a day...

Good to see you tonight...

6. Got your card today. EXCELLENT picture. And remember, I've been a photographer for
35 years, so my opinion carries some weight.

Enjoy.

7. You really think you need to ASK? Remember, our door is never locked when we're home, so you
don't even need to knock or ring the bell.

And hey, tell your little cutie that Crazy Uncle Redstone says Merry Christmas.

Hope you all have a great day tomorrow.

5. If I were Santa I'd much appreciate that beer
But Santa is a freak of nature and he may well like cookies and milk 24/7.

9. I would think so
And, you never know, that brewsky might net you an extra gift this year. I'd say it was a good gamble to try anyway.

10. We always left beer and a sandwich for Santa Claus as well....
Santa always wrote us a kind note, saying he really appreciated the beer.

:D

11. Same here. Funny, the note always seems to be written left-handed, and I'm a rightie.

12. We've been eating on a ham for the last three days. I'll gladly
leave as much ham by the tree as Santa wants. No alcohol, though. I wouldn't want Santa to get pulled over and fingerprinted.

13. Yep. Ever since you posted this last year, I tell my kids that Santa REALLY wants a "sammie".
Tee-hee. I know you hate that word.

A sangwich and suds....Santa is happy.
