The girl in the apartment next door came by just to tell me she's having a party tonight so if there's noise and all that... yada yada yada... she was ll done up in an evening dress BAWOOOGA!

7. I can't help but think this was an excuse for her to shake a tail feather-
I mean, she was "done up" and in the dress way ahead of the party... I'd take the advice of the person who said to show up, but perhaps not until the party has been going.

Of course, you'll have to good sense for it all to be PLATONIC, won't you? :-)

6. Your neighbor also is extraordinarily polite as well.
I was driven out of my bedroom last night (second time in four weeks) by a loud party going on next door -- no advance warning given. Thank heavens I have a sofabed at the other end of the apartment.
