Help! I can't figure out the artist of a song I keep hearing!

There's this really catchy tune on the radio I've heard many times- but I always hear it when the dj decides not to announce anything about it...I'd like to get the cd, but I have no idea who it could be! So here's my description.......The male voice sounds a little like a young Billy Joel...says something about..."the messenger" a few times, I'm guessing that might be part of the title...anyway...there are interesting chord progressions, but then there is a distinctive spanish brass sound to the chorus or bridge. I hope I have given you some ding,ding,ding type clues. I really appreciate your help or guesses!:hi:
