She's a classic rock lover like me, and we've had a discussion or two about good music. So about a week ago she went to this auction and ended up buying what may turn out to be a real boon to the entire world- within her purchase she discovered a mini-reel that was marked as being a Johnny Winter demo recording done some time circa '64.

I advised her to try to find an expert to attempt to safely extract the recording- after all these years hidden who-knows-where, I suspect it may be a little fragile and somewhat unusable.

I hope it gets done. Johnny Winter is and always has been an incredible blues artist. One of my favorite songs he has done is a fantastic version of Tobacco Road.
