What's your favorite TV theme song?
I haven't decided on mine yet, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling.

1. Charles. In Charge. Of my days. And my nights.
Charles. In Charge. Of my wrongs. And my rights!

And I sing. I want. Charles. In charge of me! Charles. In charge of me!

56. Ah! Performed by a former backup singer for Todd Rundgren.
Shandi Sinnamon, to be precise. Also inspired the song "Shandi" on Kiss' "Unmasked" album.

39. So let's say, and why not, that you're the bassist in a funk band.
And let's say you're doing a huge benefit gig in D.C. Half of the songs you will be playing that night were probably written, produced, or written and produced, by Quincy Jones. There are many celebrities there that night, but sitting right on the front row, in front of the band, you see this face:

Quincy. F**king. Jones.

You then begin a prayer to the Gods of Funk to really be on, and bring your "A" game.

I hope you were blessed. What pressure. I heard he was a nice guy.

Hubby is a musician and most of our friends are too. We didn't want for entertainment at the reception. But my brother that plays a 12 string guitar drolly put it 'It takes a lot of balls to preform here because you know that most of the folks here are either mentally critiquing your technique or thinking that they could play it better.' Needless to say, we had a good variety of music and great food.

when they said Waylon Jennings' "Good Ol' Boy" was the best theme song ever. I yelled "No way!! The Jeffersons 'Movin' on Up' is the best ever." Then they played it. The bar agreed.
