Tonight on tap at Tavernertavern: Three Floyds Dreadnaught IIPA

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmgood!

Damn this stuff is nectar of the gods! As good as our Russian River Pliny the Elder. Better than any other high-octane IPA.

This is a soft, sultry, midwestern belle who will treat you with kindness, warmth and charm. Oh and she tastes great to boot!

1. "Duffy's Tavern, where the elite meet to eat.
Archie the manager speakin'. Duffy ain't here — oh, hello, Duffy."

Duffy's Tavern, an American radio situation comedy (CBS, 1941-1942; NBC-Blue Network, 1942-1944; NBC, 1944-1952), often featured top-name stage and film guest stars but always hooked those around the misadventures, get-rich-quick-scheming, and romantic missteps of the title establishment's malaprop-prone, metaphor-mixing manager, Archie, played by the writer/actor who co-created the show, Ed Gardner.

3. I still need to try Dogfish
GoddessofGuiness told me Dogfish is the perfect IPA

But yes, three floyds is the 2nd best IPA I've ever had. And I've had RateBeer's best.

I'd be willing to trade, but it would be easier for you to find this stuff if you're out east than it would be for me.

4. Oh one of my favorite IPAs.
I've got to go to Dark Lord Day at Three Floyds to see if that special brew is as good as is claimed by the beer geeks.

7. Next time I get a chance to get some, I'll get that
My distributor, Archer Liquors, ran out of Three Floyds Dread, so I put in an order for Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA and 120 minute IPA. Did I choose well, Obi Wan?

8. Great choices!
Next time you're out this way, we'll have to go somewhere that has Dogfish on tap! :toast:
