INTERIOR: DEATH STAR -- CONFERENCE ROOM.

Yes.

Our scout ships have reached Dantooine. They found the
remains of a Rebel base, but they estimate that it has been deserted
for some time. They are now conducting an extensive search of the
surrounding systems.

She lied! She lied to us!

I told you she would never consciously betray the Rebellion.

Terminate her...immediately!

2. So at this point
Did Darth Vader know she was his daughter?

He was either not that clairvoyant, or even more twisted than we thought at the time.

the Emperor, obviously, knew. But Vader is believed to have basically blocked out everything that Anakin knew and was. remember the scene from Jedi when Vader senses, from Luke, that he has a sister? it's the first he knew of it, and the beginning of his redemption.

6. My favorite moment in Knights of the Old Republic...
when you're being interrogated, and they ask where the Jedi Enclave is. It's on Dantooine... and one of your options is to say, "Alderaan. It's on Alderaan." :)

8. Govenor Tarkin was a FUCKING IDIOT!!
The last scene:

The Death Star is on the way to destroy the planet where the rebels are located. The rebels attack the Death Star but the Empire can't fire the Big Death Ray at the rebel planet because another planet is blocking it.

HEY SHITHEAD, WHY NOT JUST DESTROY THE PLANET BLOCKING THE REBEL BASE, THEN DESTROY THE REBEL PLANET AFTER THAT?

WHAT A FUCKING MORAN!! :grr:

11. Blowing up a gas giant planet around which you are currently in orbit is way stupid.
It could destablize the entire planetary system. But you wouldn't notice, because your space station, which took nearly twenty years to build (aging technology, metal fatigue, etc.) and has at least one fatal flaw that we know of, would be sucked into the gravitational vortex created by the collapse of the planet you just blew up. Either that, or the Death Star would be incinerated by the flaming gasses of the exploding Yavin, provided the Turbo Laser was powerful enough to ignite them. I mean, we know the effect of the laser on terrestrial planets, but not gas giants...

18. well, this was the old Death Star (v 1.0)
maybe the laser took so much energy (remember it dimmed the lights?) that it could only fire every so often? we only ever saw it used once, (well, and a half) unlike v 2.0, which was used much more often, and required much less brouhaha to fire.

10. Hey! We have this conference room at 11:30!
You will have to take your brand marketing meeting elsewhere.

We reserved this in Outlook! Besides, all the other conference rooms are busy.

We will be here until at least noon.

*SIGH*...I wonder why we bother to book conference rooms at all. Come on, let's meet in my office.

Vader can't eat them.

(The air-intake grating on his mask is tough to clean... )

15. Look at that table.

No donuts, no coffee. Its no wonder the Imperials were so grumpy.

And you wouldn't want to see Vader eat anyway.
