5. I'm guessing Six Flags St. Louis will be renaming their 2008 wooden coaster
The park is installing a new wooden coaster named Evel Knievel, I'm thinking that the name will be changed before it, and the park, open for the 2008 season.

9. To what--the "Robbie Knievel"? Sorry, but some names are eternal
I think the appropriate legal precedent is when Billy Crystal got Lorenzo Lamas's okay to keep on doing his Fernando "Nando" Lamas shtick after Fernando Lamas himself died.

2 Linked to Holloway Case to Be Freed
By MARGARET WEVER 7 hours ago

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) A judge on Friday ordered the release of two brothers suspected in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway, ruling that the evidence wasn't strong enough to continue holding them, a prosecutor said.

Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who were re-arrested in the case for a third time last week, were to be released from jail by Saturday.

<snip>

The two brothers and a third suspect who remains in jail, Joran van der Sloot, were the last known people to see Holloway alive before she vanished on May 30, 2005, hours before she was scheduled to return home to Alabama with fellow high school classmates celebrating their graduation.

<snip>

No trace of Holloway has been found despite extensive searches. Prosecutors have said they have evidence that she is dead. Their statement Friday said the evidence provides grounds to suspect the men were involved in covering up a crime committed or the disposing of a corpse.

17. A Montana boy that made it big

Knievel dropped out of high school after his sophomore year and got a job with the
Anaconda Mining Company as a diamond drill operator in the copper mines.
He was promoted to surface duty where his job was driving a large earth mover.

Knievel was fired when he made the earth mover pop a motorcycle-type wheelie and
drove it into Butte's main power line, leaving the city without electricity for several hours.

With a lot of time on his hands, Knievel began to get into more and more trouble around Butte.

After one particular police chase in 1956 in which he crashed his motorcycle,
Knievel was taken to jail on a charge of reckless driving.

When the night jailer came around to check the roll, he noted Robert Knievel in one cell
and William Knofel in the other. Knofel was well known as "Awful Knofel," so Knievel
began to be referred to as Evel Knievel. The nickname stuck.
