DU mamas, did you have nude pics taken when you were pregnant?

I didn't and I really wish I had, since I will never *really* remember what my body looked like, then.

When I was about seven, I happened across some (tastefully done)pics of my mom in the buff when she was pregnant with me. Even as a kid, I thought they were very cool, beautiful, and amazing.

I'm totally kicking myself for not taking pictures of my pregnant body when I had the chance.

I didn't. My sister just had studio pics of her at 38 weeks. Not "nude" but her belly was exposed. Beautifully, I might add.

I was e-fucking-normous and uncomfortable and tired-looking. It's bad enough looking at pictures of me pregnant and clothed, I'm very very glad nobody got any nudes of me pregnant.

I'm sure some people would appreciate and look great in nudes during their pregnancy, but I'm definitely not one of them.

However, I've got a cool side profile b & w shot where I was wearing a sport bra and shorts and nothing else. Gawd, I was HUGE!

I also wish I would've done that cool artsy thing where you make a plaster of Paris mold of my full pregnant belly. That would have been a unique thing to have. You can decorate and paint them however you want. Nowadays you can buy whole kits for doing that sort of thing, but they didn't exist back when I was pregnant.

23. Nah, I was big as a house. I looked like a different person when I was pregnant.

I envied a neighbor of mine. We were both pregnant and delivered one day apart at the beginning of Sept. This was back in the 70's. She wore a bikini to sun bathe all that summer. You should have heard the neighborhood gossip over it. Me..I had to wear a frickin' tent, every part of my body was swollen, my feet even went up one size. No nudies for me..not even belly shots.

25. I had a belly cast done.

I thought it was beautiful, but once made the mistake of posting a picture of it here 2-3 years ago and the usual suspects of asswipes proceeded to act as though I was trying to be provocative and tore something very special and personal to me apart. It's still very special to me, but not something I'd want to share with just anyone. I've learned the hard way that most people have too many hang-ups and issues regarding the human body (especially in terms of pregnant women) to want to be the person who puts myself out there like that. Kudos to those who can. :thumbsup:

Most of the pictures I have of me during my pregnancies are from the first couple trimesters. You can't really even tell I had a belly, so they're not very interesting. I love the few belly pics I have; I wish I had more/better pics.

You're spot-on about some people's hang-ups, imho.
