See what was dumped on us yesterday...

The chocolate one is named Jada, the white with blue eyes is named Iris and the one with the brindle spots is named Cassidy. They are very cute and of course at only 10 weeks old, they are sweet as can be.

The owner, who couldn't be bothered with spaying her female pit, was going to just let them out on the street in East Los Angeles. I hate people!!! She also decided that she was only going to feed them once a day because she didn't want to be bothered with cleaning up after them.

We have them in a great foster home until we can find them forever homes.

1. My dear astonamous...
Oh, they are just adorable...

So glad you rescued them from that unspeakable woman...

I hope the female was taken from her as well...

Good deal on the great foster home!

Precious babies, all of them... :grouphug:

4. Thank you for the offer.
I'm sure we will be able to find good homes and of course we do home checks and have very good follow-up schedules.

These little kids will not ever have to worry about where their next meal is coming from or anyone placing a bet on their fighting abilities.

6. They are adorable! I am so glad that there are people like you to take care
of these little ones...

The owner is a fucking asshole who should be put on the street!! Jesus, that pisses me off.

Do you have an organization or a place to send a donation?

8. Yes we do...
www.pryorsplanet.com.

Richard Pryor and his wife began the organization a few months before he passed away. We are very "grass roots". Nothing fancy...just try to find the best homes possible for the dogs that find us and speak out every chance we can for animal rights and educate the public.

7. You are lucky that only 3 were dumped on you.

My son has 9 pits in his back yard that were dumped on him. Unfortunately, he lives in a redneck area of North Georgia and knows some scum who fight dogs. But he is not involved. These were dogs that wouldn't fight.

9. We got involved with case in Tennessee a couple of years
ago. Basically, we had someone go in and "liberate" the dogs. Found them all great homes and they are all doing good today. The guy was charged with animal cruelty but didn't serve any time.

14. I hope there is a low-cost spay clinic where the owner can be encouraged to take mama dog
if money is a problem. We had neighbors whose pit bull mix girl had three litters (9+10+8=27!)of puppies (w/all sorts of papa dogs!)in two years. The second and third times, we couldn't believe he hadn't had her spayed, he kept saying he was going to.
They had a very casual attitude about care of mama and pups, so my son and I, and neighborhood kids would
feed/water/play with them and put them back in their yard when they escaped. Finally, the young man owner and the girlfriend split up, and he left the dog and her third litter at that house.
We were surprised to see the mom dog and her five pups that still needed homes at Petco the day we adopted our dog. We found out that the girlfriend's mom had taken them to the pound while her daughter was on a trip with her new boyfriend! The SPCA rescued them from the pound and put them all up for adoption. We were relieved that she'd finally be free of her continuous puppy production, and have a person who could take better care of her.
