That Conway Twitty clip during last week's Family Guy
made me think that second only to George Bush, country music is probably the most hideous evil the US has ever spawned.

2. Oh, I think there is some redeeming quality in country music...
Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, some of Merle Haggard's stuff...songs about the human experience as lived by the common working folk. Today's jingoistic flag-waving Toby Keith shit doesn't deserve to sit on the same shelf, IMHO.
