is developing macular degeneration and can't find her ball herself anymore. Have you seen/ can you recommend a golf ball that would be easier for someone with poor vision to find?

bright orange, maybe? something that really sticks out? I remember seeing somewhere (skymall maybe?) a gold ball company that put RFID chips in the balls, you could find them with a handheld device. obviously not that cheap, not possibly great balls.
found it: radargolf.com

Ouchie! They are pricey! I think I'll stick with fluorescent orange!

| 3. Check out eBay -- there are lots of golf balls for sale. |

I'm sure that there must be some brightly colored ones listed.
Good for your aunt that she is still playing. I had radiation in my left eye last year to destroy a tumor -- what I see out of that eye resembles what a person with macular degeneration would see. It certainly would be hard to spot a golf ball!!

| 4. the initial set is pricey, sure |

but 30 bucks for a dozen balls isn't all that much, honestly, you pay more than that for NIKE balls.
