If I had traded my US driver's license for a Swiss one during my first year of legal residence here, I would automatically have been issued a Swiss license, valid for life. But I didn't know about that rule, so here I am.

J/K, We went down the street to spend 11$ on a domestic bottle of Budweiser at a bar. And then walked back to the train station after realizing we couldn't afford to stay in the country. We did stay in Lucerne for a bit.
