BTW, I'm a girl! ;)

I used to have a Kenmore portable clothes washer and it was great. It could be hookied up to the sink or hooked up to a standard washer hot/cold outlet. I'm sure the Kenmore dishwashers are just as good.

edit: sp.

9. Hee hee!
My name is from the bear shaped cookie jar in which I put change that I'm saving for my horse Cotton's upkeep! I call it the Cotton bear. I admit that I had no idea that there were gay men called bears before a few years ago but I'd already chosen my DU name! There are some other DU girls with bear names too!
:)
:hi:

6. Wow. That countertop dishwasher
might be a really good option for my apartment. My building won't allow full sized dishwashers, but I could probably get away with the countertop model. That would help me out a lot.
:)

8. Cool! I'm glad you thougth of me when you saw that.
It's really perfect. I'm going to check out countertop models a bit more, how well they're rated by owners, etc. I can't hold wet soapy dishes without dropping them, so a dishwasher like that would definitely help when I don't have anyone to help me. :)

17. You're welcome! I want a Roomba iRobot vaccum for Christmas!
There was one on sale at Big Lots this past week (brand new not refurbished!) for only $200 but I a.: couldn't afford it and b.: was going out of town on friday morning and had absolutely no desire to stand in line at some absurd hour of the morning to shop on "Black Friday."

Maybe next year! ;)

I have a good friend who had a stoke last year and she's having to learn to do things with one hand. So many modern appliances and technologies make life for the disabled so much easier.
