One of my friends brought her two dogs here for Thanksgiving
and it made me appreciate the beagle that much more. She was SOOOO well-behaved compared to the guest dogs. And if I had a dog that yapped all the time, I'd kill myself...or it.

Hope you had a good Turkey day.

2. The funny thing is how my dog reacted!

When they'd start yapping and running through the house, she'd turn and give me this look like "I don't think they know 'sit' or 'stay'."

I haven't seen Snake II since our initial meeting. But I'm not surprised, because the weather has turned cold. It's 32 now, and got down to the upper teens last night. Not "sunbathing on the sidewalk" weather. It was 65 the day I saw him. My assistant said she met him the day after I did. Said he stuck his tongue out at her, trying to scare her. She said it struck her as cute that he was acting tough, as small as he is. I hope to see him again, when the weather warms up.

3. We had 5 dogs here on Thanksgiving
and my daughter thought that letting them run through the house would be fun!
So we had the basset hound in the lead, followed by the bulldog who was chased by one of my beagles (who barks when she plays) then we had the pug bringing up the rear, trying to hump the beagle..... on the sidelines was my other beagle who snarled and growled everytime the pack passed him.....
I was ready to pack a bag and go to the hotel.....

:silly: :silly:
