South Brunswick, NJ Monday morning
I'll be there on time. Gotta deliver this *whatever the fuck it is*.

Sealed trailer-paperwork just says FAK-freight of all kinds. But it's
going to a major consumer products company we all know. So it must be
just "consumer products", right?

Frankly, in my 20+ years of driving, I've never seen the paperwork so
uh, confusing.

1. I am sure the load is meant to be "consumed"

2. FAK doesn't usually list contents
Edited on Sun Nov-18-07 12:37 AM by OzarkDem
not needed unless its haz mat, and that can't be shipped FAK (IIRC a customer who did want to ship a variety of chemicals in a container as Chemicals, FAK WTF?).

Normally, though, FAK designation is more for purposes of getting a cheaper freight rate. Could be someone is trying to pull a fast one.

Where did it originate?

5. For obvious reasons
Somewhere in Alabama. I've had many FAK designations on the BOL.
However, until now, I've had access to the packing list. The payload
is just 11K. Welcome to the 21st Century, I suppose.

10. Won't have to
I'll just drop the trailer where they want, pick up an empty,
and get a sig on the delivery receipt. I was just musing about
the cryptic paperwork.

4. Have they
made you put a placard you
have never seen before on
your trailer? :)

8. No, not hazmats
Just weird paperwork. As I said upthread, until now I had access
to the packing list. Hell for all I know it's just kid's Holiday
presents. But...In Bushworld, the antennae sometimes get raised.

7. Are you driving one of those eighteen wheeler things?
And is it customary not to be told what you're delivering?

9. Not unless it's Gov't freight
And this isn't, to my knowledge.

11. My dear liberaltrucker!
Hmmm....sounds um interesting!

Be careful, OK?

I know you are, though...

Will you ever find out what it is? :scared:

12. Probably not
I'll just drop this trailer, get a signature on the delivery
receipt, and pick up an empty. I don't mean to be paranoid, but
never have I been denied access to the packing list. Just consumer
products. OK.

13. Well, I certainly don't blame you for being concerned.

If it were just new security measures, they'd have told you so.

By the way, you're at a rest stop of some kind, aren't you? You're not texting while driving?
