| The price of a meatball sub and a pepsi across the country |
|
I live in suburban Boston. A large meatball sub around here is about $7 A 20 oz. Pepsi is $1.50
$8.50 is my total
so what would I pay in some other parts of the country? Or how about some other countries?

| 2. It depends on where you buy it |
|
And your definition of "large". I can buy one fresh-made at my supermarket deli for $8, but their "large" is super-enormous: it easily accounts for lunch and dinner, and I'm anything but thin! Chain sub shops run $6-7 for a large, so your prices sound similar to Florida's.

| 5. ordinary corner pizza joints |

Seems like we have them on every corner around here. I had forgotten its not like that elsewhere.
We also have new-style gourmet pizza joints which I know nothing about. But I assume every price would be higher.

| 4. Here in Indiana we only have chain sub shops |
|
I don't know about Quiznos or Jimmie Johns, but Subway would be about $5.50-6.00. That's as a combo.

| 6. At my favorite sub shop, Half Fast Subs in Boulder... |
|
...the price of a 14'' Meatball Grinder is $7.39, and a 24 ounce fountain drink would cost you $1.25 for a total of $8.64 - before tax, of course.
Incidentally, the Half Fast Subs Meatball Grinder is the BEST meatball sub I have EVER had. Drool-worthy, if I do say so myself.
