Wow! so this is what Saturday morning is like
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 09:54 AM by underpants
My wife and I and Josie were laying in the "big bed" watching Curious George and it hit me--a week ago I was running the marathon AND this was the first Saturday that I HAVEN'T been on a 6-20 mile run on Saturday morning since... uh ..... JULY. :wow:

My wife made a comment about how I was getting in the way and really gumming up their normal routine.

:bounce:

They usually go out to the "farm" to get grass-fed steaks and meat and free-range eggs and such while I am out wherever running.

I'll probably be back out running next Saturday though-I feel like an lazy oaf.

3. I have been thinking about this for a long time
Mainly because I knew that once this time of year finally got here I would have done the marathon and it was time to sit back and do the normal autumn thing.

4. Enjoy your rest!
It was great to see those pics of you in the marathon. Very cool.

But you're right, once you get in shape it's so much easier to keep it up than to start all over again.

6. These are the best of times....
You just don't know how lucky you are to have these times...it seems.

Cherish them.
