4. Heh... made me think of a short story I just reread...

by Larry Niven, a sci fi author. In this story they were on a planet where the sunlight was intense enough that you had to wear big dark goggles all the time. When the main character ran into an old friend, the old friend didn't recognize him right away. Then the friend started grumbling about how "On this planet you'd have to walk around naked to be recognized... and even then only the women would recognize me..." :P
