making a county party recruiting poster, need advice.
Well, my county party's really busted my ass for not bringing in any new members from my college at our last meeting.

Therefore, I have gotten the OK to make up some recruitment posters, which have to be run by our Chair before posting.

So now, I've gotten a bit of writer's block, and I need some help.

Here's what I have so far:

Are you sick and tired of George W. Bush?

Do you want to help defeat him this year?

Join the Marinette County Democratic Party!

I'll fill in the details such as website, meeting times and places, and email addy later.

I don't want to get too snarky with this poster. We're going to need all of the warm bodies that we can get.

2. Recruitment posters are tough but here is a thought
Tired of excessive tuition increases? Disappointed by reductions in student aid? Afraid good-paying jobs will all be overseas by the time you graduate?

Join the Marinette County Democratic Party and make a difference.

You need to speak to your audience - show them that membership in the party is about them and their future, not politicians.

3. I have a couple thoughts that might ring with that age group ...
Five hundred will not finish school ...

Five hundred will not start new jobs ...

Five hundred families did not get to say good bye ...

Are George Bush's policies on your side?

Join the fight for Real Leadership ...

My wife (Sybylla) suggested that you may want to add a reference to soldier to make it more clear. I am not sure since that may lessen the empathy factor.

Another thought, though I don't have a tag line yet, the draft will be a very real possiblity after the fall elections.
