3. Why are Finnish given and surnames so strange,yet Hungarian more ordinary.
Finns have given names like Antii,Jorme, Gedde etc.

12. I get your point to a degree,I grew up in a large Hungarian community in Canada.
I knew a couple Zoltans. Gyuri is Julius,Istavan is Stevan.The others are named after colors?

18. We adopted our daughter from Latvia - my wife actually went there to pick her up (while I stayed at
home with our son).

If she ever decides to go back for a visit, I would love to go with her.
