When he was elected both of the winners were from the NFC(Redskins of '92 and Cowboys of '96)

Pittsburgh 4 Lombardi Trophy's
San Francisco 5 Lombardi's
Oakland(I think it's Dem) 2
Dallas 5 Lombardi's
Washington D.C. has three Lomardi's
Both NY teams have 3 Lombardi's between them
