Do film companies remember pre- 1970's?
I was looking around IMDB today and I noticed how many older movies aren't available on DVD or VHS anymore. I'm not talking about B flicks or Ed Wood type films (although Ed Wood films *are* on DVD), I'm talking about Oscar nominated films like Caged, and amazingly the entire library of comic legends like the Marx Brothers are out of print as well.

I mean, they release 2 or 3 versions of the same movie, including the Super Extra Special Expanded Hyper Fighting Edition, yet I had to resort to making a backup copy of Duck Soup that I found in the library.
