Lounge nation foundation myth?
All great nations need a foundation myth. I say we go classic. What apocryphal historic Lounge figure gets to suckle at the teats of what Capitoline animal? Lo! for Temporary Sockpuppet did glut himself upon the seven-nippled bounty of Oscar, and yea! it was not good.

1. Once in a land far far away, where the donkeys kick & the electrons play...
(It should be a rhyming foundation myth, right?)

2. Seven-nippled?
That's just wrong, man.

Three heads, snakes for hair... I can live with all that stuff... but an odd number of nipples? I dunno...

4. Verily, i say unto thee, the Pit Bulls of Liberty coursed forth
and dumped all the soup, salad and breadsticks you can eat into Fenway Park, thereby vanquishing Babe Ruth's steroid dealer to Venezuela. And there was rejoicing throughout the bleachers as the Breastfed One was brought forth to be circumsized (just so he'd look like his daddy), and lo, the seventh kazoo sounded, and the seventh thread opened, and i saw kudzu pour forth like a rushing tide, and the Lounge broke free from bondage with the sound of many strumpets, and with the coughing of smokers innumerable, into the glory and the welcoming embrace of the FSM, forever and ever, even unto the end of the age.

6. Three wise guys from brooklyn....

sat down one day and said, "look, you mooks, shad up and listen, we's here gots a problem, some body, I won't say who, is giving me grief, ands you know I don't like grief, I needs you to take him out, pronto, capire?"

one of the other wise guys said, "you know, boss, wouldn't it just be easier to just let bygones be bygones? life is short, eat more pasta, love your wife, drink the wine of life", he smiled broadly.

The other wise guys, with fear in his eyes, slowly backed away. Clearly motioning that he wasn't with him.

The boss pondered the others statement. "like turn the other cheek?"

"yeah yeah, turn the other cheek."

the boss walked over to a pollution stained window, gazing out across the many roof tops. Laundry hanging in the breeze, families sitting together, a few old men playing bocci.

The smell of fresh gravy soothed his nostrils.

"I think you might have something there", the boss slowly exhaled. "I'm tired".

Finally, the other wise guy spoke up, "I have an idea", the other two turned to him.

"Wat is it?", the boss grunted.

"we start our own nation!", he smiled.

"waaa?" said the wise guy. "nation?", stated the boss.

"yeah, yeah, one based on lunacy, snarky humor, bad puns and basic no holds barred stupidity!", he beamed.

Rubbing his hard hand across is stubbled chin, "you might have something there, I'm in!" chimed the boss.

And so it began the lounge nation.

As an adult male, however, the circumcision part was kind of a bummer...no anesthetic, and all that...
