I read some good one's...

Ten Days in the Hills, Jane SMiley...
The Fortress of Solitude, Jonathan Lethem...
The Yiddish Policeman's Union, Michael Chabon...
Herzog, Saul Bellows...

and a lot more...

A couple of guilty pleasures such as...

Angry Housewife's Eating Bon Bons, Lorna Landvik...
Night Passages, Robert PArker...
A Wrinkle in Time....

Next up...

Richard Russo's new book and then Ragtime...

I still haven't finished The Fortress of Solitude...

It vanished into a huge pile when school started...

I will, however, finish it!

5. Reading, thinking and making sense of it all
is one of the great joys in life. I know some people who feel guilty about reading and studying, as if it's not something "important", but I think it is very important, and it's great there are some DUers here who will make posts like this.

I actually had to cancel my Amazon account because I was spending too much on books. But last week I started ordering from other online booksellers... Books are simply amazing, and I don't know if life would be worth living without them.

So, kudos to you.
