1. Elmo is almost single-handedly ruining a generation of children.
I'll make you a deal - I'll hold him down and you beat him, then we switch off every half hour.

2. I assume you're the proud owner of the new TMX?
I just saw him in action today at the office.

I wanted to drop-kick the motherfucka who brought Elmo into the workplace. We have no bell tower or I would have been up it.

4. Better be careful with that dropkick attempt . .
Elmo has spent some time in the ring and won't be caught off guard that easily

5. I sometimes catch myself humming 'dada-dada-- -dada-dada- ---Elmo's World'.
Damned Elmo toys that sing. Gifts, so you can't refuse them, but boy do they drive me nuts.

6. I always liked Grover, Ernie, Bert and The Count much more than Elmo.

8. At least Old School Sesame Street Vol. II is coming out next month.
Edited on Mon Oct-22-07 07:32 PM by Pithlet
I plan on getting it for my kids. They already have Vol. I. It's 100% Elmo free. I'm looking forward to it because they're the episodes from my childhood from the mid 70's. Vol I was a little before my time.

9. Elmo came to Sesame Street in 1983. He's been the #1 Muppet
for years. He's all right. But I much prefer other characters.

10. My son loves Elmo. And there's some great jokes in the "Elmo's World" segment.
It's clearly written by very smart people who know that the parents are watching with their kids. Let's face it, a little kid isn't going to get the "Baywatch" joke they did last week.

11. Put it on youtube okay!?
I hate his voice. I'm 37 so he was totally after my time. And I was a hardcore Sesame Street watcher, I loved every character so much. When I hear Elmo's stupid voice now I feel my memories are being totally violated x(
