I want to die where I've lived for almost 50 years

I have loved my area.

I gained peace of mind over decades from not having to deal with so much that goes on in other areas.

I could look outside and see wide areas of beauty, and wide areas of poverty. They tended, in the past to balance out, and I can only hope that they continue to do so.

I love my home, and have seen almost 50 years of change, and dislike much of it.

The money changers who have made money somewhere else come in, drive up the land and home values, drive up the taxes, and force the people who have lived on the land for generations out because they can no longer afford it.

I don't look to the past, but the future looks almost sociopathic.

2. I love my little spot of earth

I want to stay here forever. I wish I didnot have to leave it in the mornings and I love coming home in the evenings. More and more I feel this way.
