8. an amusing story around Hogan's Heroes
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071650/

Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS
a 70's grindhouse exploitation style film about Ilsa, an evil Nazi warden at a death camp that conducts "medical experiments". Ilsa's goal is to prove that woman can withstand more pain and suffering than men and therefore should be allowed to fight on the front lines. It was secretly filmed on the Hogan's Heroes set in the middle of the night.

27. I forgot about After MASH
That definitely makes the list. Hello Larry was doing poorly in the ratings (imagine that) so NBC moved it to a time slot right after Different Strokes and wrote in that Larry and Mr. Drummond were old friends thereby allowing crossover episodes in an effort to raise ratings of Hello Larry, this according to Wikipedia.

29. "Scamps"...
Never heard of it? That's because it only existed as a pilot. Bob "Gilligan" Denver running a day-care center out of his home, and it was every bit as dreadful as it sounds, right down to the kiddie-sung theme song ("He's a champ...with the Scamps!") that made the "Brady Bunch theme" seem like the "Ode to Joy" by comparison. :puke:

Why do I mention a sitcom that no one's ever seen? Well, I had to sit through it not once but twice. The first time, NBC used it as filler on their local L.A. station after an NBA playoff game that ran short. It was excruciating. Then, almost half a year later, I was selected to be part of a test group to look at a "new NBC series." I couldn't believe it when the tape started playing and I realized I was watching the exact same show, and the exact same episode, that had nearly made me physically ill many months before. Needless to say, I did not give it a positive review.

BTW, I believe that future teen idol Joey Lawrence was one of the brats in that show.

I laughed my ass off at (almost) every episode of it.

Hogan's Heroes I'm ambivalent on. My dad enjoyed it, but I've never seen the big deal over it.

Other than that, I really can't say what the worst sitcom was, because taste is subjective.

38. Cavemen is shaping up to be a legendary stinker.
But I still think "Walter" was one of the worst ideas ever squirted into a TV. Walter "Radar" O'Reilly, company clerk of the 4077 MASH, returns to civilian life and finds employment as a big city cop. It's the kind of idea that may possibly make sense if the person who thought it up was blind drunk, but quickly reveals itself to be the most stupid thing ever once the booze wears off. Unfortunately, it looks like the booze never wore off for these guys.

Fortunately, it never made it past the pilot.

This show was stunningly bad. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. It had it all--bad acting, lame plot and phony laugh track.

A few years ago, there was this really bad show on UPN that took place in the Lincoln White House. I watched this one once due to morbid curiousity because TV critics really savaged it. I don't remember the name of it, but it starred Chi McBride. I never heard so many drunk jokes in my life.

I agree with you on Alf and Silver Spoon, but I thought The Charmings was pretty funny and clever. I especially liked Lillian's cynicism, Paul Winfield as the mirror and the overly satirical bent of the show. I suppose this means you don't want to buy my Beta tapes of the show.

69. Laverne & Shirley

Gawd, but I hated that show.

Oh yeah, and Green Acres.

I'm showing my age now!

72. Nothing more annoying
than people who call Seinfeld "Steinfeld."

My vote is for "Three's Company." I don't think I could watch an entire episode without puking or shooting myself.

82. Even worst - The Ropers
I thought Norman Fell was a genius but that show really blew.
Archie Bunkers Place was just sad. Archie wasn't the same without Edith.

73. Perhaps
you mean Seinfeld?

I hate almost all sitcoms--there are very few I actually sit down and enjoy.

Really, I don't find most sitcoms all that funny.

75. "That '70s Show."
I turned 19 in 1970. I remember the '70s. The '70s were (mostly) a friend of mine. That crappy show was no '70s.

Stoooooooopid. Insipid. Inane. Made "Green Acres" look like Macbeth.

I watched it twice. Induced amazement that anyone anywhere could produce anything so stupid. I am sure many more would come to mind if I thought enough about it, but I'll stick with this choice for all-time worst.

87. Woah; really. First negative review of that series I've encountered.
I shall remember you comments, my friend.

92. Agreed.
And it got even worse, if possible, when Jean Stapleton left and it turned into "Archie's Place" or whatever that show was called.

93. I don't know about Steinfeld, but I hated
Seinfeld. I never got why that show was so popular. It was so shallow and unfunny to me.
