Bad Poetry Contest
Enter your most wretched poetry here. Winner gets the lock of Jim Morrison's armpit hair that's been serving as a bookmark between the first and second page of my copy of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" for the last 12 years. 2nd place wins a copy of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass".

My entry:

"The Game"

Lives float by in the wind like plastic bags,
I reach up and catch one, then release it again.
The game is called love and we are all players,
Some win, some lose, and some don't play at all.
"Is it cheating to use a net?" You whisper.
"No, but it is quality, not quantity," I reply.
One man's trash is another's treasure,
Freedom is only illusion!
We are all lost...

1. Trembling like an aspen leaf...
Chained to the rails...

The rails on a speeding train..

Wearing black

And stirring coffee

Weeping...

Slowly...

In the rain...

:P :scared:

5. "A Forest"
A forest of souls
The weeping willow mourns mine
Lost, gone forever

3. How's this?
Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits
On a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me
With crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon,
See if I don't!

Oh blobit of dribble
Oozing from the upturned corner of my mouth
You look to me,
Like you should be,
The thing that dropeth from the cloud
A tiny bit of thee is stuck upon my lip
A little more is stuck up my nose
Some has adhered to my hip
My eyes are open and glassy
My snot is thick and green
And from my ears,
Something obscene appears,
And I think it might be me.

6. Any poem with the word "micturate" in it is good
Sounds like something Harry Potter's gloopy alter ego would come up with.

9. Pie
So much I want pie
to throw and mash in your face
and give to a dog
and wash my feet with
as feathers
fall
from grasshoppers
Viva la sushi

11. "A Heart Laid Barren"
"A Heart Laid Barren"

Cold as the coldest ice, dark as the blackest night,
My heart beats but is empty, hollow as a dead tree.
The clouds turn gray in my sky, the rainbows fade,
Snow falls, but my world's children do not make snowmen.
They are too sad about my lost soul.
