| Tovah busted a tooth... yowwie... |
|
she was jumping up at our big greyhound, Sunny, snagged her "fang" in his collar and :SNAP:...
doesn't seem to hurt her - she's been eating/playing fine... but it does mean calling the vet this morning. Hopefully we can get a appointment today for a look see
best guess is that she is now 10-11 weeks old (3 months), according to info I've found on "the google" - her adult teeth should be coming in at/around when she's around 4 months
hate to have her go though a tooth extraction when she would lose the tooth in another 3-4 weeks anyways. It's not a clean break, kinda nasty looking.
there's a risk of infection if nothng is done. maybe they can just keep her on some anti-biotics?
anyone run into similar situation with a pup?

she talked to vet office, we were told to keep an eye on it for infection, redness, swelling or if there's a change in Tovah's eating/playing

| 3. Baby teeth aren't as vascularized as adult teeth. |

I'll bet you don't see any pulp, and if she isn't in pain that's always the best sign.
